Experience

2019 - Current
Audio Squadron | Cambridge, U.K

Product Manager

Audio Squadron is the parent company of Prism Sound, Tracktion & SADiE. In this role, I manage and assist in the development of several products including a DAW, several synths, a collection of sample-based instruments and Prism Sounds new flagship AD/DA convertor. Tasks include but are not limited to: feature mapping, specification writing, UI & UX design and producing all marketing and educational video content.

2015 - 2019
Tropical Media Labs | Bali, Indonesia

Director of Operations

I set up Tropical Media Lab in Bali with the help of software developer Rob Rampley. As director of operations, I led a small team that offered QA, software testing, development support, customer support and content creation services for the audio, MIDI and media development industry. I interacted with clients of all position levels, scheduled meetings, devised test plans and delegated tasks accordingly. Being a small company I was very hands-on with all tasks including software testing, customer support, sound design, patch creation and even marketing/video production for product launches. Clients included: Nektartech, Tracktion, Cakewalk, M.O.K and several start-ups.

2009 - 2014
SonikGravity | San Diego, California

Music Composer/Producer

My role at Sonik Gravity varied greatly depending on the project. This provided the opportunity to play music supervisor, producer, composer, sound designer & recording/mix engineer. My music during this time led EMMY and ADDY award-winning commercials and included work for The W Hotel, Qualcomm, PETCO, National University, Kaiser Permanente, Radio Flyer and more.

2008 - 2009
Sanderson Sound | San Diego, California

Assistant Engineer

This position allowed me to work with and learn from Grammy award-winning engineer and producer Alan Sanderson (Rolling Stones/Michael Jackson). Recording & mixing sessions ranged from rock bands to orchestras and it was a great opportunity to familiarize myself with multiple world-class recording facilities. As an assistant engineer, my duties included: setting up and breaking down tracking sessions (mic placement), assisting musicians as and when needed and offering a second pair of ears for critical mix decisions.

Since 2002 I’ve worked freelance, composing & recording music for bands, brands, artists and agencies in the U.K, U.S and Asia.
